Mary Jane has spent over 20 years working in the personal and social development field, from guiding groups of children, teens & adults in the outdoors, using nature and outdoor activities as a medium for positive behaviour change, to coordinating and leading a national education programme for midwives around supporting smoke-free pregnancy across New Zealand. She’s worked as a post-graduate researcher and lecturer of undergraduate students at Edinburgh University in the department of outdoor education and led a programme for social and community change in the heart of Brixton’s Coldharbour Estate for 8-12-year-olds and the wider community to steer them away from gangs, guns and knives. Throughout her career and as a result of her own health and wellness journey, Mary Jane came to understand the importance of supporting the whole person in their journey of growth and development, with her toolkit growing to reflect this, to further support those she works with, both one-to-one and in group settings. She’s gone on to be a practitioner at a Health & Wellness Herbal Dispensary in Christchurch, NZ, as well as co-facilitating women’s wellness retreats in Bali and coaching people one-to-one around the world via the internet with her skillset.
Her toolkit now includes EFT L3 & Matrix Reimprinting, with Birth Reimprinting; as well as being a META-Consciousness (META-Health) practitioner; Ayurveda Wellness Educator; Life Coach & Passion Test Facilitator; and nutrition student. With a foundation of psychology, sociology and philosophy of education underpinning her tools, along with her lifelong passion for being in nature as a space for growth and change, she aims to provide a personal experience which supports those she works with, to expand and blossom in a way which is enjoyable, sustainable and memorable.
Come join her and the rest of the group, for what is sure to be a fun and delicious day…because Mary Jane loves to cook and bake too!
